My 11 Month Old....
Loves to be on the move...always crawling crawling crawling
Will pull herself up on the weirdest stuff and "walk" along it.
Puts herself to sleep after a lifetime of me holding her to sleep *I sure do miss the cuddles*
Wakes up in the middle of the night, sits up and can't lay herself back down so mommy and daddy have to help her.
Is nearing the end of her pacifier usage
Won't look at the camera when you try and take a picture of her.
Has a spunky attitude that both makes us mad and makes us laugh at the same time
Loves to crawl UP the stairs.
Loves to *help* mommy in the kitchen
Will cuddle with you ONLY when she is super tired or you have a book
Loves her Mr. Beary(s)
Is getting such long hair that I am contemplating a trim.
Loves Chapstick thanks to her Grandma Gail, and smacks her lips for it when she sees you have it.
Is such a great eater and eats whatever you put in front of her.
Really doesn't have a whole lot of interest in bottles anymore except at bedtime.
Makes mom and dad proud of her every single day.
We love you baby girl! Happy 11 Months!
*pictures to be posted after I actually take them. LOL*

Why the heck don't I take videos of this stuff?
Well WHAT a weekend it was! I was pretty busy but still managed to find some time to relax...err...chase the Monster around the house for a while. She has become a crawling machine. From one room to another, to pull herself up on the sliding glass door in the 3 season room. Which is her FAVORITE room. Maybe it's all the windows at her height, maybe it's cause we don't really spend a ton of time in there, who knows. But she loves it. She now has constant red knees but it doesn't bother her, as long as she can get where she wants. She also walks along the couch and other furniture and is more often than not letting go and standing there by herself. WHERE IS MY BABY? She is getting so big and learning so much. She'll be walking in no time.
And up until about a week ago I cherished my cuddle time with the girl after her last bottle til she fell asleep and then I put her in her crib, until it was getting to the point where she would wake up and cry when I put her down. So we ultimately decided some sleep training was in order and it was time she learned to put herself to sleep. It was hard. Not hard to listen to her cry, or hard cause it wasn't working, in fact, it DID work and it worked fast and now I've lost my little cuddle bug. She doesn't WANT me to hold her to sleep anymore, which is good, but I can't help but be a little sad. Sorta like my baby doesn't need me anymore. Which is pathetic, cause lets face it, she isn't even potty trained yet. LOL.
So I'll enjoy and mourn the loss of my cuddle time with the girl til she gets old enough to WANT to cuddle with me. Until then I just take the kisses she gives.

And last but not least....
This session was fun. What's more fun that chasing a 19 month old around for an hour and a half hoping you can get just one or two GREAT shots of them. LOL. They are so busy and ALWAYS on the go that it's hard work.
This is Tara and her son Logan (Adam's cousin Tara) I like to think we got some pretty good ones in there. Here is a sampling.
Tara seemed really excited about a collage so I thought I would share my favorite one! I put together a couple for her!

At LAST the wait is OVER!
I was SO excited yesterday, every time a truck would drive by the house I would JUMP off the couch and run to the window to see if it was the long-awaited UPS guy. And Finally around 2:00 or so I heard it. The sweet sound of the squeaky breaks, the slide of that door. It was HERE. After waiting a horribly long 11 days to get it, it was in my grasp. I rushed to the door, I stood there waiting in anticipation as the UPS guy couldn't get to the door fast enough. He was here. On my doorstep. With my camera and all I had to do was sign that little screen. After he left I brought it to the couch and ripped into it as fast as I could, I just knew I had to get to the battery so I could put it on the charger. I hated that hour long wait as the battery charged as I couldn't turn on the camera, But I sure had fun playing with all the accessories and getting everything out of it's packaging (and minus a little break that I had to take to feed the girl) I was in heaven. It really was Christmas morning in my house yesterday! Finally the light went solid, I could put the battery in the camera and TURN IT ON! I basically spent the rest of the day yesterday playing with my shiny new toy. Despite my grand plans of vacuuming the mons' room or cleaning the bathroom. Those things could wait. My new camera could not.
So for your viewing pleasure I took some photos. Oh I took MANY photos, most were of stupid stuff as I learned how to zoom and focus and work the flash, So I picked a couple favorites and thought I would post them!
Of COURSE the girl likes to watch tv. She is OUR daughter after all. Here she is watching Adam play guitar hero or rockband, I don't remember which, either way the point remains the same.
She doesn't look at me when I take her picture anymore, and if she does look at me, it's usually a blank stare.
Just call her Lily Blue Eyes. I Love this photo, the way the light was hitting her face was JUST perfect. She has the most gorgeous blue eyes. I really hope they stay that way.
My wonderful Husband, whom without him, I wouldn't even HAVE my shiny new camera. So Thank you Honey!
One of out demon cats. I have always loved his eyes, So pretty.
And the Dog. Who doesn't get near as much credit as he deserves. Leo's such a good boy. listens well (doesn't pee on my carpet) and is always willing to watch you eat.

PS. Don't think I did totally nothing yesterday, I did get dishes done, my dining room cleaned. the floors done and the living room picked up. Pretty productive for an hour and a half when the girl was napping huh?
